So I spent part of the afternoon yesterday reporting the tweet-comments of a woman who came to my attention because she responded on Twitter to my article about the trans girl in Texas who got assaulted in the wake of the Uvalde shootings.
She told me trans teens don't exist, that they're all just mentally ill and unstable.
She says things like that very often, she's apparently made a huge part of her life about going on Twitter and calling trans people mentally ill.
I wish people could get their stories straight. Mental illness or fabulous trend? It doesn't really seem to matter much to them, does it? When you've decided in advance that you don't like trans people or the idea of the trans people exist, you don't really need to get your story straight. You just need to use some kind of an argument to bash people with.
And that's what they do.
