So, I don’t know if you’ve heard, but Pete Buttigieg and his partner Chasten recently adopted twin infants. All the usual suspects on the right castigated them, talking about what horrible parents they would make since neither of them is a woman, ignoring all the data that demonstrate how same-sex couples make great parents.

One particularly strident Twitter loudmouth really laid into them for how evil they were to adopt babies who don’t have parents. Her attack was so mean spirited I just had to go to her profile and see what she’s all about.

She’s an anti-abortion activist — professionally, besides just on Twitter. Opposing abortion is how she earns her living, and it’s pretty much all she ever tweets about. And of course she talks up adoption as a great alternative to abortion.

Until it’s not.
