Since Elsa came to live with me, I have had to completely rearrange how I do my bird feeding. I put My feet are as much higher off the ground, and I no longer scatter any sunflower seeds on the ground. One thing that's fortunate is that Elsa is absolutely captivated by hummingbirds, many of which are resident here all summer long, but she has no capability of actually catching one. They're much too fast for her. Her undying optimism keeps her attention away from prey that might be more practical. Lol
