Should I feel honored or insulted? LOL. The only news article that had come out about situation when the superintendent posted that statement was my article in the Los Angeles Blade, which Tyler and his mother both believe was informative, truthful, and helpful to them.

Curious how the superintendent ignores that he and the principal felt it necessary to lie to Tyler and his mother.

If that’s how they believe students ought to be treated, I wonder if the good citizens of Tully ought to consider if the right people are in charge of their school system.

In the meantime, the law is no longer being violated. Tyler will be featured in February’s spotlight. The Central Board of Education is having an emergency meeting to talk about drafting explicit LGBTQ nondiscrimination policies, and the social worker at the elementary school who was discriminated against it’s pushing for remedies.
