She did some interviews last fall when the whole controversy first broke out. She's not 11 by the way, because while the mural is for the middle school, she's an older student recruited from the high school to do the painting. If I'm remembering right, she was 16 or 17 last year when she painted it. She's very well spoken and very thoughtful.
