Several parents in Talihina have told me that while the teacher must be fired, which seems only obvious in light of his heinous behavior, they worry that Superintendent Lockhart might eventually use the teacher as a scapegoat. They say the superintendent is the center of the hostile racist and homophobic atmosphere in the district, and that he needs to go.
