Seriously! When my 14 year old started using the Montreal subway system on his own, I worried. Hell, I worried a lot! I would wait on pins and needles until he got home sometimes.

But that’s what parenting is about. How could he ever have learned to be independent and responsible for himself if he didn’t get to practice it?
