Same for Florida, from what I've seen recently! Apparently, the invasive green iguana population is exploding and pushing out native wildlife in certain niches. But nobody wants to eat them because they're reptiles, which makes them sound like "not food" — despite the fact that alligator meat is starting to become somewhat popular in Florida.

But green iguanas get so huge they must have a lot of meat on them. Certainly it would seem they would have more meat than bullfrogs, which were considered a delicacy when I was a kid, and before their populations started to contract.
