Right place, right time! Lol
Mr. Crisp was living in the Village at the time because he needed to be in the US for professional reasons.
He really needed to be in Los Angeles, but he claimed to “loathe the City of Angels.”
Personally, I think he just quite enjoyed the Village, and he didn’t mind being flown out to Hollywood when the occasion demanded.
Nor was I the only “cute young thing” (ah, to remember past glory) buying him lunch and cocktails.
He was a charmer, though.
