Right? It’s difficult to take many of them seriously, including leading figures of the LGB Alliance.
One of the major issues they raise on their web site, unless they’ve changed it recently, is that they fear lesbians will be fired from corporate jobs if they refuse to have romantic relationships with trans women.
That can’t actually fear that.
It’s hard to believe anyone could think that’s a real problem because, well … it isn’t. Corporate HR departments don’t get involved in employee’s romantic lives unless sexual harassment is involved or employees are dating coworkers when policy says they work too closely together.
Corporate HR departments certainly don’t fire employees because they won’t date one another.
Again, it’s all just so overwrought. The issues don’t line up with the high emotion involved.
