Right? Because asserting non-judgmentalism implies that judgment might be appropriate.

Believe it or not, as a gay man, I can feel slapped in the face when somebody tells me they don’t judge me. Because what that actually means is that I’m less, but they’re going to forgive me for it.

Likewise, when Christians tell me they’re OK with me because Jesus came to forgive us, I want to scream. No! We’re not asking for forgiveness. We haven’t done anything to be forgiven FOR.

We’re perfect just the way we are.

Christian arrogance often astonishes and infuriates me.
