Reminds me of the time I texted a fellow editor about a piece I was working on. By working on, I mean editing for a new writer.

Only I didn’t text my comment to my fellow editor. I actually texted it to, you guessed it, the writer himself — leaving out all the usual politesse and consideration one should include if asking for a substantial rewrite.

Was that ever awkward!
