Remember the TV series "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" that came out several years after the film? It's one of my early childhood memories, probably because our family dog at the time was named Daisy. Those very first years of my life are some of my best memories. I had not yet started school and did not realize that I was different and would suffer for it. That would soon change.
