Prism & Pen sometimes (though not often) features allied voices, and sometimes we even solicit them. I think this particular piece would be valuable to our readers who are anxious for technical experience, especially wrapped up like this in a package of tolerance and respect grounded in cultural and historical appreciation. I'm not trans either, but some of our other editors are, and we'll be sure to ask for "sensitivity reads" before publishing. I see a lot of upside and little downside.
