“Pitch me the issues I’m interested in, that affect my life, that arouse my passions.”

Maybe that’s old fashioned; I haven’t been part of the youth vote for decades. But it sure seems sensible.

When I was young, I hated being condescended to. From what I know of young people today, that hasn’t changed. I don’t blame you at all for feeling disconnected with efforts to get your vote.

I think sincerity in political outreach would go a long, long way.
