Perhaps Moulten should think about leadership and what it means. Perhaps he should consider that responsible leaders don't push thoughtless, false, stigmatizing ideas about people in order to win political races.
If Moulton truly wanted to be a leader, he could learn about trans people playing sports in high school. He could learn that the 14-year-old girl in Florida, for example, was supported by all the other girls on the volleyball team, and by her coach. They wanted her on the team. They spoke up for her.
Because she wasn't a threat.
Because being a threat is not the reality of trans kids playing sports. And reality really should mean something.
Shouldn't it?
