People can be so bizarre. Humans are apes, not felines, obviously. We're omnivores who are adapted to eating a wide variety of food, and we die if we don't mix up our food sources. We die if we eat only meat. It never ceases to astonish me how ignorant and stupid some people can be, especially when good data is out there to educate them.

And the anti-vax crowd? Double or triple for them. They could know beyond any shadow of a doubt that they're wrong, but they choose not to know.

Ignorant, stupid people who actually choose to be ignorant and stupid. Astonishing but not all that surprising.

When you look at how popular religion is after all, you know that people will like being ignorant and stupid. It's obvious that religious faith, for example, is objectively meaningless, but many people tout its accuracy and effectiveness for knowing things anyway.
