Over-reacting a little? Hetero-normative is a term of long standing. We’ve been using it since Camille Paglia starting talking about these sorts of things in the 1980s. Cis-normative is a very simple derivation meant to include the idea of gender alignment in the conversation.

I don’t have any problem with any couples who choose sexual monogamy for themselves. I don’t think my article implies that I do.
