Outside my bailiwick, frankly. I was an intel officer with a desk job and worked most closely with other people like me. I never saw combat and was unlikely to encounter people who did. The closest I came to rubbing shoulders with people at risk for PTSD was when briefing fighter pilots on Soviet tactics. And while PTSD is a real thing for some pilots, it's not nearly as common as among infantry soldiers, whom I almost never encountered.
