Oscar Wilde died in exile, alone in France after served time in prison for being gay. I don't know what your point is, but "love the sinner hate the sin" is one of the most disgustingly insulting, homophobic things any person can say about a queer person. We categorically reject the notion that there's something wrong with us, that we sin, or anything like that. People who believe we are sinners because we are queer our vile homophobic monsters.
