One thing I'd like to add is that "bitch" is often used as an anti-gay slur, in the sense that it's used to say a man is like a woman, which is a terrible thing to be in the mind of the person slinging the slur.

Some of us gay men have worked to reclaim b**** a bit among ourselves. I don't personally like it, but there ya go.
