One of the greatest ordinary, everyday French expressions EVER!

Even after I began speaking and reading French with some ease, and saying, “Je m’en fous” all the time, I didn’t quite realize how utterly obscene it is in literal translation.

Once I figured it out, I never could quite get used to it, no matter how ordinary it is in quotidien speech !
