One day, I imagine historians will sit around debating what it is about being British or American that produces such inept national leadership during a time of severe health crisis.
Actually, in this case, I think the British “ruling class" are doing marginally better than we Americans are managing, not that that says much when the race is to the bottom.
And how did the Australians manage to escape the curse of ineptitude? They’re our cousins after all, right up there with the Kiwis who have also done a magnificent job managing the pandemic.
