I’m going to have to write very carefully and telegraph very well, because this ain’t a damn novel despite the fact that it wants to become one.

I have a very clear picture of Amanda and a thorough back story made up already. Her girlfriend is a trip!

My challenge will be letting that stuff shine through without overwriting.
