Oh, please browse all you wish. And I’ll try to post more in another story at some point. Perhaps something centered around the water birds in the village pond.

Bears are my worst bad dream. I live on the very edge of a very small village, with a corn field and a cow pasture on one side of the house. Bears are, to say the least, not rare in this part of the state.

I’ve often feared that I would have to take my feeders down if one of the local bears became savvy to them.

As things stand, raccoons make pests enough of themselves. But so far, so good. Fingers crossed!
