Oh, look! A screenshot!

I totally forgot that a friend of mine took a screenshot of Dr Mehmet Yildiz’s homophobia yesterday evening.

When I brought to his and others’ attention that a homophobic bigot had published a screed on Illumination instructing parents on how to prevent their children from “becoming” homosexuals, Mehmet did not reply to me. Not one word. Instead he replied to the homophobic writer with words of support and partial agreement. He’s since deleted his foul comment, but here it is for the world to see:

Nua. Even though my findings from the scientific literature disagree with your content, I appreciate your due diligence for pointing out that this story does not discriminate against sexual preference of individuals.

Mehmet, your assertion to nua that their horrifying story does not “discriminate” reveals you to be an evil homophobe. When you agree with the writer that sexual orientation is a matter of preference, you reveal yourself to be an ignorant homophobic bigot.

Sexual orientation has nothing whatsoever to do with preference, except according to religious fanatics like Jerry Falwell and Franklin Graham. Your comment places you firmly in their company. What a horrifying human being you are.

But, hey, at least I have documentary proof of your evil.

I hope you enjoy the screenshot. I suspect you’ll be seeing much, much more of it and very soon. You have very little time left to change course and try to redeem yourself.
