Oh, I'm optimistic that the Democrats are going to win this time. I'm just clear-eyed that that doesn't mean they're going to push for policies that are important to me.

Kamala Harris was an important leader in my country's morally depraved war on drugs. So I know she's capable of great evil again.

Yep, I'm glad she supports queer issues I care deeply about, but I know that she's not at heart a good person.

And it's important we all remember that. Just a lefting Democratic politicians doesn't mean that everything is going to be wonderful.

To an extent, voting for Harris is a deal with the devil. That's all I'm saying.

I'm still confident she's going to win.
