Now, there's another subject very different in the gay male world from the lesbian world! In general, we gay men love us some straight men. Or at least, that's the stereotype, often even among ourselves. So the idea that a prospective sexual partner might sometimes have sex with a woman isn't a negative. It can actually be a plus if it makes him seem straight!
(Remember that "no femmes" thing? You can't get less femme than a man who has sex with women. Or, at least that's the idea.)
On the other hand, you certainly hear some pretty toxic "pick a team" biphobic rhetoric in our gay male communities, but ...
Well, you know how some "gold star" lesbians are proud that they've never had sex with men and sometimes don't want to date women who don't meet that "gold star" standard? We just don't have that in the gay male world. For better or worse, it almost doesn't even make sense, given our prevailing cultural norms.
I should caveat all of the above by noting that your mileage may vary. Gay men are diverse, and not everyone is the same.
