Now now. A good dry martini (and never a fake martini mixed with vodka) certainly has its merits.

And I for one would quite happily tend bar for the right guy.

But, Strexit, yes, you’re quite right. Working out functional roles in a gay male relationship is something you actually have to do. It doesn’t do itself.

There aren’t necessarily any models to follow.

On the other hand, what with women being routinely expected to be part of the workforce now, I’m betting plenty of young straight couples have their own roles to figure out on their relationships.
