Nothing can take the place of reading books, man. More power to you! I was a few years younger than you when I read Roots for the first time. I remember lying in bed every night after an hour or so of reading and just being knocked back in my socks. I literally could not believe the contents of those pages, or I should say I didn’t want to believe them only I knew they were true.

I wish everyone in the United States had to read it. I could say that about so many books. So, just keep reading!
