Not only that, but link to the primary source, where possible. Instead of linking to a USA Today article, for example, that reports the results of a study produced by XYZ university, take the extra step and find a link to the study itself, and cite that.

Not only will your work look, feel, and BE more professional, it will be genuinely more helpful to people interested in the topic.

Which is kind of the whole idea of writing about it in the first place, right?
