Not only did Fox not air the hearings, they've spent the time since amplifying criticism of them and undermining them. They're doing whole segments on how witnesses were "misquoted" in the televised proceedings, because a line or two lines at the end of their statement wasn't included. If you look deeply, it doesn't make any difference, because the parts that did get televised were the parts that conveyed the necessary information.
But Fox is giving Trump supporters anything they can to hang their denial hats on. And from what I can see, it's working.
The Right is dismissing the hearings out of hand as stage-managed propaganda.
I suppose the televised proceedings are going to have some good effect, but if the needle of the general public's opinion has moved, it's only by a whisper.
