No, it's not that simple. Apologists presume that their faith beliefs are true, and then they construct arguments against neutral, objective, critical historians who use only evidence to form their views.

For example, apologist construct elaborate sandcastles for explaining away obvious contradictions and false accounts in the gospels.

Apologetics is not an interesting or serious field. If you know the answer before you start your reasoning, you are not actually reasoning.

Apologetics is a very silly field, and apologists are not serious or reasonable people.
