No, everybody on the left needs to call out homophobic bigotry. Everyone on the left needs to reject religious teachings that queer people are abominations, or that we are — as the Roman Catholic Church teaches — depraved and disordered.

If you don't agree with that, you don't deserve to call yourself a leftist or progressive.
