Nicely said, all of it! I get so very tired of homophobes, invariably Christians and other religious people, who argue that experiencing sexual attraction is not immoral, but acting on it is.

They seem so strongly invested in wanting us to suffer — in urging or sometimes even forcing us to live without the genuine intimacy they see as belonging exclusively to people wired to find fulfillment in the opposite sex.

In the U.S., the number of people who opppose legal same-sex marriage increased last year for the first time in nearly a decade.

I have to ask myself why so many people insist on controlling other people's loving behavior.

I'm very glad you found your path to personal acceptance!
