neetha, think what you are describing is the need to develop a sense of outrage about injustice that hurts innocent people, and I agree with that need completely. Outrage is the opposite of normal.
When innocent people suffer due to the cruelties of racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, or xenophobia, we need to speak out. Shout out! We must express our rage.
I don’t mean lose control, of course. But we must recognize that what we’re seeing is unhuman, deeply immoral, and deserving of condemnation.
