If that is not exploitation of non-union labor, then nothing qualifies as exploitation.
This entire story reads as an eloquent argument for a much stronger labor movement in the United States. The disastrous legacy of Ronald Reagan and his anti-labor policies has lowered the standard of living dramatically for all Americans.
We won’t get it back unless and until workers regain a true say in negotiating their working conditions collectively.
