My late partner Lenny was Jewish, and in my experience socializing with his liberal New York Jewish friends for a decade, almost no group on Earth is more critical of the Israeli government than liberal New York Jews.

But you know what? They criticize real issues and take the Israeli government to task for problems the government can fix.

How utterly different from this absurd anti-semitic global conspiracy trash that just won’t seem to stop circulating.

I don’t know if you saw this, but I wrote an article a little while ago about a book available through Amazon that promoted the idea that transgender people exist because of a global Jewish conspiracy that funds gender clinics — with the aim of destroying Western civilization, of course. Sigh.

It’s too absurd for words, but people run with it anyway, because, you know, I guess the more groups they can hate the better.

I’m glad to report that Amazon eventually withdrew the book from sale, but I’m not happy to report that it’s going to be coming out in hardback soon from an independent publisher.

Immediately would not be too soon for this kind of malevolent fantasy garbage to become entirely socially unacceptable.
