My cat Elsa is quite similar. Though, she probably thinks I'm a big dumb human who hasn't quite earned dumb-cat status yet.

She's totally devoted and loving — on the condition I do exactly what she wants on her schedule, which can change on a whim and is my responsibility to figure out and honor.

Oh, and that heating pad I bought to ease my arthritis on cold evenings? It's hers. I can borrow it, but if she wants it, no delay in returning it to its rightful owner.
