That case in West Virginia is really egregious. The idea that the cops were attacked by a hammer is almost ludicrous considering the evidence on the scene. The Black man who supposedly attacked almost a dozen fully body-armored cops almost bled out on the sofa he'd been sleeping on when the cops burst in.
His lawyer got photos. The cops didn't. Nor did they wear body cams.
This case will probably not go anywhere, because video footage does not exist.
It just got to show that holding cops accountable for their racism is really hard, and they will resist transparency and accountability to every extent that they can.
