Me too. After I let Elsa the cat in last night, I glanced outside and the squirrels were having an absolute party all over my bird feeders. Without Elsa to keep them in check, they're voracious little beasties.

But I had so much fun watching them that Elsa got jealous. Or mad that she couldn't dash out there and put a stop to the shenanigans. ;-)

But I'm happy to pay for a little extra bird food. Especially since Elsa has never caught a squirrel — despite her deep and patient dedication to the task.

You know, I drove into town the other day for supplies, and I spotted three or four maple trees that had just started to turn color in places.

Also, I woke up to 40 some degrees yesterday morning and this morning.

Yikes!
