Looks to me like she featured a trans woman who is a lesbian. Trans women are not "male persons" except in the minds of obsessed anti-trans folks looking to pick fights -- which you appear to be going out of your way to do.

Some of my good friends are trans men who are gay, by the way. I wouldn't have any trouble celebrating them on days that honor gay men specifically, not that I can think of any days like that off the top of my head.
