Looks like a pretty good book to me, just by the blurb. Pretty in the now, as it were. I’d read it.

Or maybe that’s the problem. Maybe for some of these most outspoken transphobes, all this outrage is psychological transfer. There’s little they can do about the economy, the effects of Brexit, the pandemic, etc, so they channel their frustration into rage over a tiny group of women who can’t effectively defend themselves.
