Look, when Chapelle declares for "Team TERF," he is outright saying he irrationally hates trans people.

TERFs believe transgender people ought to have fewer civil rights than cisgender people. They believe trans people are dangerous to women and children despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. TERFs are vicious bigots who incite violence against some of the most harmless, vulnerable people on earth. TERFs are hateful scum.

If TERFs are Chapelle’s team, then I spit in his face. Every fiber of my being screams out its intense hatred of him.

But you know what? I don’t think he knows what he’s saying. I think he’s ignorant.

But that’s no excuse. He’s a multi-millionaire several times over. He has plenty of free time and money to learn better, to do better.

That he chooses not to makes me weep. He has the power to be a force for good, but instead he chooses to be a force for evil, hatred, and bigotry.

If that does not make you angry, it should at least make you sad.
