lol! Sorry, don’t mean to laugh, but it’s a little funny for me personally to realize somebody actually said most progressive/liberal members of the baby boom generation are dead. Heck, not only are we still alive and kicking, many of us are prominent voices right here on Medium. (And on Twitter, for that matter.)

I mean, most of the liberal/progressive people who surrounded me for most of my life (because I’m a liberal/progressive person myself) are still quite alive. Yes, lots of gay men and trans women died during the AIDS crisis, but that’s a tiny fraction compared the universe of liberal/progressive people as a whole.

Thank you for you comment, though, because it’s enlightening to me that folks actually think we’re dead. I’d honestly never heard that before.
