Living in a very conservative part of rural Michigan and watching all my neighbors resist every sensible precaution designed to keep covid-19 at bay, I really feel the meaning of “Mass Hysteria,” if you’ll pardon the disrespectful choice of wording.

People are proud of not wearing masks. They’re proud of restaurant owners who refuse to close when they’re told to. They’ll tell you loudly that they will never take that “damn vaccine.” They’ll glare at you for wearing your own mask.

None of it makes the slightest bit of sense. They’re all just stubbornly being as stupid and ignorant as they can possibly be.

I sure hope they go extinct.
