We must have the federal LGBT Equality Act to bar discrimination in employment and housing.Speaker Pelosi has introduced it, but all the usual suspects are lining up in opposition, including the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, and Trump’s evangelical allies.

Until LGBTQ people have a fair shot at living our lives visibly, tragedies like this are going to multiply.
