Let's look at it like this: for years, while she was a Notre Dame law professor, Amy Coney Barrett was a governor (board of directors member) of a conservative Christian primary/secondary school. While she was one of the governors, the board formulated a policy, which she voted in favor of, maintaining that LGBTQ students and students with LGBTQ parents are disqualified from attending, and that LGBTQ teachers are disqualified from being part of the school.

Not surprising for a conservative Christian school. But ...

Years later, at her Senate confirmation hearings, she testified under oath that she has never discriminated against an LGBTQ person.

Obviously, she was lying out her ass.

Less obviously, she probably somehow convinced herself she was telling the truth. By some sort of absurd sophistry.

I expect no less from her and the other Republican justices in the Colorado/Trump case.

I hope I'm wrong.
