Last night, I very carefully watched every minute of video footage from all 13 body cams. I had trouble sleeping after that.

I watched his body jerk and bounce on the ground as round after round after round after round after round after round after round slammed into him. I watch dust and smoke fly. I watched brutal, bullying cops surround this man, pump lead into him, and then handcuff him after he was certainly dead.

When will we be ready to admit we don't have a bad apple problem? When will we be ready to admit the whole barrel is rotting?

Cops are so fast to brutalize and kill Black people, but as we saw during Pride month, and as I wrote about, cops are highly likely (and have been documented on video) to stand back and let white nationalist groups like The Proud Boys terrorize LGBTQ families with small children.

But we just won't do anything. Because too many privileged people are perfectly fine with the fact that cops are mostly brutal, bullying pigs. President Biden dismissed the Defund The Police movement and actually moved to increase federal funding for municipal police departments and sheriff's offices.

It's disgusting. The pigs are running amok and nobody will do anything to protect innocent Americans from them.
