Just the other day, a school in Texas freaked out because a teacher read aloud to her class a book about a transgender boy.

She chose it from a list of diversity reading material she got from a school program.

When some parents learned she had read it, they screamed and shouted and demanded she be fired. The book was removed from the diversity program, letters were sent to every parent apologizing for the “inappropriate” material, and students were offered counseling for trauma.

Cancel culture much? Just imagine how LGBTQ kids in that district feel right now to be shown how plainly people despise them.
